The First Year Success Series is a great opportunity for students to meet and interact with numerous UCR staff, while learning about campus resources in greater depth. It helps students to get the most out of their first year on campus and to navigate their everyday challenges outside the classroom. The First Year Success Series is a great complement to the array of first year programs the campus offers. The themes of the topics covered in the First Year Success Series include: Wellness, Study Skills, Life Skills, Campus & Community Service, Technology 101, Leadership Development, Cultural & Campus Events, UCR Spirit & Traditions and UCR Success Skills. All of these are designed for students to:

• Explore UCR
• Get connected
• Meet other new students
• Learn about campus resources
• Develop skills for academic and personal success
